Tango's News

07/08/04: Tango announces the arrival of seven bouncing baby Tervlets. In typical fashion, once she was ready, she efficiently delivered four girls and three boys in two and a half hours.

05/05/04: Tango arrives in lovely Ste.-Blandine, Québec, to meet her betrothed. It is love at first sight. Her suitor is Can. Group-Winning BISS/BPIS Ch. ATChC Nicha Question de Charisme Can. CD AGX AD HIC HITs. Stay tuned for updates as to whether musical puppies will be the result.

03/12/04: Tango brings down the houseful of Grammies while at the Louisville Kennel Club's Obedience Trial at the Kentuckiana Cluster in Louisville, Kentucky by finishing her UD title with a third 1st place finish and a score of 190½, under judge Mr. William A. Oxandale. Evidently all those near-misses were just because she wanted to finish while everyone was watching! Tango is now officially a well-balanced Tervuren!

02/28/04: At the Winston-Salem Dog Training Club's Obedience Trial in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Tango achieved her second Utility leg with a score of 190 and another 1st place finish. The judge was Mr. James J. Ham.

02/07/04: At the Triangle Obedience Club's UKC Obedience Trials this weeken in Durham, North Carolina, Tango finished up her UCDX with a score of 197 and a perfect heeling score!

01/30/04: At the Nashville Dog Training Club's Obedience Trial in Franklin, Tennessee, Tango received her first UD leg with a score of 189 and a 1st place under judge Mrs. Joyce Morgan. And, yes, there were other qualifiers! We're very pleased about her performance, especially since we don't have access to an indoor training facility, and Tango had never before performed the entire Utility routine in a ring!

10/14/03: In the October issue of Front And Finish, we learned that Tango was the First and Foremost #4 Belgian Tervuren in Novice B for 2002. Since we only showed in Novice B six times, we are pleased, but flabbergasted!

08/31/03: While on vacation, Tango tries out Open B just for fun at the Mid-Coast Kennel Club of Maine trials and wins 2nd and 3rd placements under judges Michael A. Calhoun and Susan M. King. Her score was only 192½ both days, but everyone knows a girl doesn't have to practice while on vacation.

07/05/03: Tango makes an impromptu trip to Virginia to visit her brother Sage, do some tracking, and earn back-to-back legs for her AHBA HCT on sheep.

06/15/03: Tango announces her shiny new CDX, achieved with six qualifying scores averaging 192 points, five first place ribbons, one third place ribbon (clumsy handler cost her that class, oops!), one High-Scoring Terv In Trial award, and two High-Scoring Champion In Trial awards. And along the way, she picked up two BOB and a BOS.

05/10/03: At the American Belgian Tervuren Club National Specialty, Tango made the second cut! Hooray!
