Event Details: These events will be held outdoors. The event hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or one hour following conclusion of judging. Judging will begin after the first handlers' meeting at 7:45 a.m.
All entries open at 9:00 a.m. EDT, Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at the Trial Secretary's home. No entries will be accepted before this time. All entries close at 6:00 p.m. EDT, Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at the Trial Secretary's home, after which time entries cannot be accepted, cancelled or substituted except as provided in Chapter 1, Section 13 of the AKC Herding Regulations.
There will be a limit of twenty (20) entries in trial classes on A course ducks and fifteen (15) entries on B course ducks each day. There will be a limit of seventy (70) entries on sheep each day. There will also be a limit of fifty (50) runs per judge per day.
Exhibition only entries will be accepted at the same fee and closing date as other entries. When numerical limits are exceeded, additional entries will be placed on alternates' list. Drawing for running order will be held at 6:30 p.m. EST, August 23, 2006 at the Trial Secretary's home.
These trials and tests are open to all Herding breeds, Beaucerons, Swedish Vallhunds, Giant Schnauzers, Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, Rottweilers, Samoyeds, Standard Schnauzers, Icelandic Sheepdogs, Norwegian Buhunds and Pyrenean Shepherds which have been registered with The American Kennel Club or have been granted an ILP or FSS number, and which are nine (9) months of age or older. Giant Schnauzers, Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, Standard Schnauzers, Icelandic Sheepdogs, Norwegian Buhunds and Pyrenean Shepherds may only enter trial classes as Exhibition Only entries.
