Four Herding Trials and Two Herding Tests

Event Details: These events will be held outdoors. The event hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or one hour following conclusion of judging. Judging will begin after the first handlers' meeting at 7:45 a.m.

All entries open at 9:00 a.m. EDT, Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at the Trial Secretary's home. No entries will be accepted before this time. All entries close at 6:00 p.m. EDT, Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at the Trial Secretary's home, after which time entries cannot be accepted, cancelled or substituted except as provided in Chapter 1, Section 13 of the AKC Herding Regulations.

There will be a limit of twenty-five (25) entries for each trial in the test classes. There will be a limit of fifteen (15) duck runs on Friday, thirty-five (35) duck runs on Saturday and twenty-five (25) duck runs on Sunday. There will be a limit of seventy (70) entries in trial classes on sheep on Saturday and Sunday.

Entry Fees: Test classes are $40.00. Trial classes are $40.00 for the first entry per dog per day and $30.00 for each additional entry per dog per day. Fees include a $3.00 AKC recording fee. There is an additional non-refundable $2.00 fee per entry for online entries to cover the Secretary's processing costs.
