Cancellation of Tracking Tests
The Border Collie Society of America greatly regrets that the Tracking Test and Tracking Test Excellent held in conjunction with the 2005 National Specialty has been cancelled. This unfortunate cancellation is the result of a scheduling error. The club is very sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment this cancellation may cause.

Event Details: These events will be all be held outdoors and unbenched. The Agility rings will be 100′ × 100′.
All entries open at 8:00 a.m. EDT, Friday, July 15, 2005 at the Event Secretary's home. No entries will be accepted before this time. All entries close at 6:00 p.m. EST, Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at the Event Secretary's home, after which time entries cannot be accepted, cancelled or substituted except as provided in Chapter 11, Section 6 of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows; Chapter 1, Section 13 of the Regulations for Agility Trials; or, Chapter 1, Section 13 of the AKC Herding Regulations. Hand-delivered entries will not be accepted.
Event Hours:
- Monday, October 10, 2005: 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., or one hour after the conclusion of the event.
- Tuesday, October 11, 2005: 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., or one hour after the conclusion of the event.
- Wednesday, October 12, 2005: 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., or one hour after the conclusion of the event.
- Thursday, October 13, 2005: 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Friday, October 14, 2005 (Agility): 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Friday, October 14, 2005 (Conformation): 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday, October 15, 2005: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Sunday, October 16, 2005: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Agility entries will be accepted on a first-received basis. There is a limit of 50 runs per herding judge per day, unless otherwise indicated. When the numerical limit is reached for herding entries, additional entries will be placed on the alternates' list.

Entry Draws:
The drawing for herding running order will be held at 7:30 p.m. EDT, August 31, 2005, at the Event Secretary's home.
Dogs Eligible to Enter:
- Conformation events are open to Border Collies which have been registered with The American Kennel Club which are six (6) months of age or older.
- Obedience events are open to Border Collies which have been registered with The American Kennel Club, or have been granted an ILP number, which are six (6) months of age or older. Bitches in season may not compete in obedience events.
- Agility events are open to Border Collies which have been registered with The American Kennel Club, or have been granted an ILP number, which are twelve (12) months of age or older. Bitches in season may not compete in obedience events.
- Herding events are open to Border Collies which have been registered with The American Kennel Club, or have been granted an ILP number, which are nine (9) months of age or older.
Move-ups:
Dogs may be moved up to a higher obedience, agility or herding class at the request of the owner, provided that a written request is made to the Event Secretary not later than 12:00 noon EST on Monday, October 3, 2005. E-mail notice is acceptable. Move-ups between days will also be allowed. Please see the Premium List for specific information on day-to-day moveups.

Entry fees for Conformation and Obedience include a 50¢ AKC Recording Fee and a $1.50 AKC Event Service Fee. Entry fees for Agility and Herding include a $3.00 AKC Recording Fee.
